19th Century Wallpaper
The invention of mass-produced economical papers in the 1830s spawned a boom in wallpaper usage - the Little Greene archive is littered with fine examples of Victorian wallpaper patterns from the latter three quarters of the century. These 19th century wallpaper patterns include Dahlia Scroll, Tulip, Poppy Trail, Hoja and Burges Snail, together with representation from the Arts & Crafts period with the Briar Rose wallpaper.
