Built in 1907, The Pearson House is situated in a scenic location close to Owasco Lake in Upstate New York. With an interior that is as impressive and elegant as its surroundings, the property has been lovingly restored by @skylerandmadi, in partnership with Hart Interiors.

Little Greene’s collection of historic paints and wallpapers were the perfect choice for this early 20th-century home. Period paint colours such as Book Room Green, Portland Stone, Bone China Blue – Mid and Travertine lend an air of authenticity. In every room, the wall colours combine with classic furnishings to create a serene, comforting living environment with real longevity.

While many of the rooms feature versatile soft neutrals, one of the bedroom suites makes an unexpected design statement with the use of wallpaper all over. This cosy bedroom sanctuary showcases Lovers’ Toile – Hicks’ Blue on all four walls – a contemporary colourway that boldly reimagines a traditional Toile de Jouy wallpaper from 18th-century France. It perfectly coordinates with Hicks’ Blue on the woodwork for an encompassing, colour-drenched effect.

In the adjoining bathroom, our Capricorn – Portland Stone wallpaper evokes nature with its luscious botanical design. Available in four different colourways, the neutral variation of this mural wallpaper offers a harmonious accompaniment to marble finishes and stainless steel for a touch of modern luxury.
