Little Greene

Whether it’s decorating the smallest room in the house or an incredible exterior transformation, we love to see how you use our paints and wallpapers to add beauty and personality to your home!

We’ve gathered some of our favourite Little Greene schemes from the past year to inspire your upcoming projects – big and small. Explore the schemes and discover new ideas for combining colours and wallpapers to create beautifully designed spaces.

Inspiring wallpaper projects

Lovers’ Toile – Dark Brunswick Green @annawpage

Transforming small spaces

Adding impact to your home doesn’t always mean a large-scale transformation. Some of our most-loved projects this year involved the smallest rooms in the home, from tiny nooks and closets to downstairs lavatories. These unassuming spaces are in fact the perfect places to introduce a textural element with the use of wallpaper, adding a touch of luxury that will transform the look and feel of the room.

With its charming floral motif, Ditsy Block adds character to bathroom walls, as seen in these schemes from @final_family_home and @mrsjessdaines. The Bombolone colourway pairs beautifully with Roman Plaster, whilst Masquerade combines with Ashes of Roses to bring added depth and richness.

In another wallpaper transformation, @annawpage reimagined her closet space into a sophisticated drinks bar, using our Lovers’ Toile wallpaper in Dark Brunswick Green.

Botanical bedrooms

The fast-paced, busy nature of life can often leave us craving a tranquil sanctuary where we can retreat at the end of each day. One of the best ways to instil a sense of calm and wellbeing in a room is by creating connection with the outdoors. We’ve loved to see the different ways you have achieved a peaceful, restful bedroom space using our collection of botanical wallpapers.

Bird & Bluebell is an elegant mural that provides a fresh and uplifting backdrop in any bedroom scheme, recreating the sense of calm we feel from spending time within nature. It was the perfect choice to accompany beautiful soft linens in this bedroom design from @tonekrok and @benedictwesselholst. Great Ormond St. is one of our most-loved botanical wallpapers, seen here in the Signature colourway, paired with Olive Colour by @rocking_the_cotswolds.

Floral patterns

Floral patterned wallpapers are a timeless choice for bedrooms. They provide a charming backdrop and can be combined with coordinating paint shades, soft furnishings and accessories. This year, floral wallpapers from our National Trust Papers IV collection have infused softness and elegance in many bedroom schemes.

Spring Flowers – Bombolone works wonderfully in this child’s bedroom from @1894home, whilst Ditsy Block – Masquerade is a delightful accompaniment to Boringdon Green in @homeatspringbank’s bedroom.

Cosy living rooms

There are countless ways you could decorate your living room, depending on the atmosphere you want to create. It’s important to choose a colour scheme based on how you will use the space. If you are seeking comfort, cosiness and intimacy, consider painting your living room walls in shades that will exude warmth. Be inspired by three of our favourite living room projects from 2024 and order sample pots to test in your own home.

Masquerade is an inviting powdery pink neutral that pairs harmoniously with Julie’s Dream on the ceiling in @thehouseofwaffle’s living room. A soft honey-coloured hue like Madeleine will envelop your living room in golden warmth, as seen in this scheme from @by_anitarussell. For more impact, consider a rich, dark accent shade like the deep crimson, Arras, which features on the bookcase in @jesshurrell_’s living space.

Characterful kitchens

The kitchen is the heart of the home, a real family space where we spend time with our loved ones every day. Using paint is a wonderful way to add character and personality to this room, so that it feels part of your wider home, instead of being purely functional. Over the past year, we spotted a host of beautiful kitchens designed by you, featuring inviting colour combinations from the Little Greene palette.

Introduce warm neutrals in your kitchen to create a gentle, welcoming environment. @by_anitarussell embraced tempting hues from our ‘Sweet Treats’ palette, whilst @av.home combined Stock with Oak Apple on the lower cabinets.

Consider incorporating brighter shades as colour accents to inject vibrancy and personality. @hornsby_style chose Tuscan Red, Celestial Blue and Garden to contrast with Clay on the walls and cabinets.

Exterior projects

Our range of hard-wearing, hard-working exterior finishes mean you can introduce beautiful colours from our palette within exterior spaces too! Available in all our colours, there are finishes for exterior walls, woodwork, metalwork and more, enabling you to completely transform the outside of your home.

Some of our favourite exterior projects of 2024 include Kate Marker’s Townie Cottages, which were painted in Rolling Fog and Chocolate Colour to seamlessly lead into the cottages’ calming neutral interiors.

In a lively, spring-inspired project, artist Caroline Dowsett painted benches in the iconic Covent Garden East Piazza using a vibrant palette of Little Greene shades.
